Product Description

CAT SLN End Mill Holder is a high-precision clamping tool specially designed for CNC machining center, which is suitable for CAT taper interface machine tools (such as CAT40 and CAT50). Its Side Lock Nut (SLN) ensures the stability and rigidity under high-speed and heavy cutting conditions by firmly fixing the milling cutter with side screws, and is widely used in high-precision machining fields such as mold manufacturing and aerospace.

CAT SLN End Mill Holder clamps the cutter by side locking nuts (or screws), which provides stronger torsion resistance and prevents the cutter from loosening during machining. Clamping is simple and fast, which is suitable for machining scenes with frequent tool change. It is made of high-quality alloy steel (such as SCM435), and after heat treatment (HRC45-50) and precision grinding, the radial runout accuracy is ensured to be ≤0.003mm (when the cantilever length is 3xD). The contact area of conical surface is more than or equal to 85%, which improves the connection rigidity between machine tool spindle and tool holder. Adapt to the taper of CAT series (such as CAT40 and CAT50) and be compatible with mainstream CNC machining centers. Supports clamping straight shank milling cutter, and the common clamping diameter ranges from φ 3 mm to φ 32 mm (depending on the model).

High Rigidity and Stability: tool holders secure tools with lateral screws, featuring a simple structure and high rigidity. They can withstand significant cutting forces, ensuring stability during machining.

High Precision: The contact surface between the tool holder and the tool is precision-machined, guaranteeing high coaxiality and repeatability, making it suitable for high-precision machining requirements.

Bore Tolerance:

The bore tolerance of the tool holder is H5 grade, a precise tolerance level that ensures a high-precision fit between the tool and the holder, minimizing vibration and errors.

Dynamic Balance Grade:
At a rotational speed of 15,000 rpm, the tool holder achieves a dynamic balance grade of G6.3. This indicates excellent balance during high-speed rotation, effectively reducing vibration and ensuring stability and surface quality during machining.
