BT LBK Boring Head Shank is a modular tool system specially designed for precision boring. It adopts standard BT taper interface (such as BT30/BT40/BT50), adapts to various machining centers and boring machine spindles, and is equipped with LBK adjustable boring head to realize high-precision aperture fine adjustment (±0.001mm). It is widely used for machining medium and large holes in die, automobile, aerospace and other industries, especially for the rapid change of multi-variety and small-batch workpieces.

Product Advantages

BT LBK Boring Head Shank adopts standard BT taper (7:24) to ensure close fit with machine tool spindle, providing excellent torque transmission capability, and the adaptive speed reaches 8,000 RPM. Optional BT30/BT40/BT50 specifications, covering light to heavy processing requirements. The boring head is equipped with a high-sensitivity dial, the adjustment accuracy is ±0.001mm, and the aperture size can be quickly adjusted without disassembling the tool. Support radial and axial two-dimensional compensation, correct machining error and improve hole location consistency. The tool holder and boring head adopt side-fixed or hydraulic locking structure, and the tool change can be completed within 3 seconds, thus reducing the downtime. It is compatible with a variety of boring bar extension modules (extension type and vibration reduction type) and adapts to different depth-diameter ratio processing scenes. The material of the handle is SCM435 alloy steel. After tempering and nitriding, the hardness is HRC58-62, and the wear life is increased by 40%. The dynamic balance grade is G2.5 @ 6,000 RPM, which inhibits high-speed cutting vibration and ensures surface smoothness (Ra≤0.8μm). Optional central internal cooling or external cooling channel, directly cooling the tool tip, improving the chip removal and heat dissipation efficiency of deep hole machining. Support high-pressure cooling (70Bar) and deal with difficult-to-machine materials such as stainless steel and titanium alloy.
