Product Description

Boring Head Shank is the core connecting part in precision boring, which is responsible for seamless connection between boring head and machine tool spindle (such as machining center and lathe) to ensure high rigidity and high precision transmission of cutting force. Adapted to a variety of standard tool holder interfaces (such as BT, HSK, CAT), compatible with modular boring head system, widely used in mold manufacturing, auto parts, aerospace and other fields of precision hole processing.

Product Advantages

Boring Head Shank adopts standard taper interfaces such as BT/HSK/CAT (such as BT40 and HSK-A63), which is precisely matched with the spindle of the machine tool, and the radial runout is ≤0.003mm to ensure the consistency of machining aperture. Double-sided contact (HSK) or 7:24 conical surface (BT) structure, which is suitable for high-speed (≤15,000 RPM) and heavy-duty machining. The front end of the tool handle is adapted to the side-fixed, hydraulic clamping or heat-shrinkable boring head interface, and the boring head can be replaced within 3 seconds to reduce the downtime. Support extension modules such as extension rod and vibration damping rod, and adapt to deep hole (depth-diameter ratio ≤10×D) and complex cavity processing. The material of the handle is SCM435 alloy steel or 42CrMo. After tempering and nitriding, the surface hardness is HRC58-62, and the wear resistance and deformation resistance are improved by 30%. High dynamic balance performance (G2.5 @ 12,000 RPM), restraining high-speed vibration and ensuring surface smoothness Ra ≤ 0.8 μ m.. The central Through Coolant is standard, which supports high-pressure cooling (70Bar) and directly reaches the tool tip of boring head, thus improving the chip removal efficiency and tool life of deep holes. Optional external cooling spray design, suitable for traditional machine tools without internal cooling function. Suitable for various boring head types: adjustable boring head, fixed boring head, CNC servo boring head, etc.Compatible with ISO standard blades (such as CNMG and DNMG) and non-standard customized tools, covering rough boring, fine boring, chamfering and other processes.
